Nimrod International Journal, Mexico Issue

Heard through the grapevine that Nimrod International Journal is accepting submissions of poetry, short stories, and personal essays for their Spring 2009 issue. Each year, in the spring, Nimrod publishes a theme issue which is usually centered on a particular region of the world, the upcoming issue’s theme is Mexico. They are interested in submissions from people living in Mexico, Mexican residents of the United states and other countries, and by others who write about or from within the culture. Submissions ought to be no more than 10 pages of poetry or 7,500 words of prose. They also accept translations.

Deadline for submission is 1 December 2008.
